Forum:Fire Emblem Lyrics
I can't believe it's still impossible to find the Latin Lyrics to Fire Emblem on the Internet. If no one knows of any way to get them then I think I might take it upon myself to try and discern them from the soundtrack and the English translation.
I tried a little this morning, but it's really challenging. There's the Japanese accent to contend with on top of everything else! I've almost managed to get a couple of lines though.
Any input would be appreciated.
- Which song are you referring to? If you're asking for lyrics to what I'm thinking you're asking lyrics to, I think that's another language or something. I still can't translate the lyrics for Brawl's theme. 10:32, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
"Fire Emblem, companions walk The endless path together.
In the wavering shadow of spite, Our home is faced by the oncoming spear, Engulfed in flames.
I keep that unforgettable day in my heart And now rise up together with my companions.
Fire Emblem, our bond shall be never broken.
We hold fast to protect tomorrow And the one who awaits our return.
Fire Emblem, light gathers on the flag we unfurl.
Fire Emblem, we gaze upon the multitude of stars, Gripping our blades.
If we do not bring light to the darkness in these lands, The shooting stars will soar over a wasteland.
Fire Emblem, on whom does the morning sun shine As she climbs over the edge of battle?"
Lol - no offence guys, but I clearly stated that I meant the actual "Latin" lyrics, not the English translation, which is very easy to find. As far as I'm aware no one has cracked the Latin yet - unless any of you can find someone who has...? JUG (talk) 10:04, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
Isn't it possible to just get all those words then put them in a latin translator for english?03:32, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- Gee...? Don't trust translator at all ! It's not accurate since it's a "word per word" translation.Metalink187 (talk) 08:36, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
Erm... once again I seem to have been misunderstood: The song itself as it is in the game is in Latin. I want to find out the Latin words and I might have to resort to listening to them and discerning them myself. Which is very hard because of the fact that it's operatic. There is no issue of translation.
