Yea, the characters from the Monkey Ball Series could be able to glide like in one of the mini games. Learner3 20:47, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

Yeah there were several characters that would have been cool in brawl, I REALLY wanted Krystal to be in it as a playable character, and knuckles and shdow would be cool, I also wanted lynn as a character and not a trophy, also how come nintendo can't put another F-Zero character? Nintendo needs to get up and add some downloadable contentSuper G 01:26, 15 April 2008 (UTC)Super G

Yeah. Crystal was one that I didn't think should be in Brawl, but replace Wolf in the next addition. She could use the forcefields from Assault for her aesthetically different reflector. I think that Falco could have had a different final smash: the arwing! Since the landmaster's hover capabilities and laser beams are in there, can't you see how they could pull it off? Wolf's could have been the Wolfen which is actually better than the arwing so that could match up to his greater power. I know they could have put a semi-clone for C. Falcon. When I get trophies from F-Zero they all look the same.XXXXX 16:22, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

I just want Zero and Viewtiful Joe! PeetzaLink 19:01, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Why not Krystal? who knows how long Nintendo will take before they release a new smashbros? Mario and Link's girlfriend's are in smash why not Fox's? Krystal would work perfectly as a character because she already has many abilities in Star fox adventures, look 'em up, her staff even has a force fierce field thing to sub for a shine. Honestly she'd be a great character. What we really have to do is find some way to get these other characters in to brawl, like I said some downloadable content would be nice, Brawl is a great game but there's always room for improvement.Super G 02:04, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Zelda is not Link's girlfriend, first of all. And I think downloadable content would take too much memory. You would need:

Character body All special moves for that character Final Smash Smash attacks Other attacks Taunt Movements All item animations Weight Attack Strengths Damage animation Fall Animation Pratfall Animation Throw Animation Victory Poses Loss Clapping Animation Wiimote Sound Trophy Final Smash Trophy Artwork for Character Selection and in Classic Color Changes (I'm not entirely sure about this next one but possibly:) Almost all of the above for each color

But still, I think it would be cool. And another one could come out relatively soon. Just think about the first Smash Bros. to Melee. That was only two years apart.XXXXX 03:46, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Soren should be in the game, and be able to use the wind, fire and thunder moves from his specials. He woul, hopefull be an original character, and be a different take on fire emblem. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.10.116.46 (talkcontribs) 17:17, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

An interesting idea, he could probably glide, maybe his final smash can be two different types, like either Trinity with Donald and Goofy (XD), OOORRR, he can turn into one of his Forms, the Forms are always Randomly picked, even anti-sora (0_0) can appear. Learner4 21:32, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Johnny Xtreme. Hear me out. Okay, moveset.

  • Neutral A: Punch in the balls
  • Tilt A: Kick in the balls
  • Dash A: Stronger kick in the balls
  • Forward Smash: Punches opponents balls off
  • Up Smash: Pulls out a rocket and shoots a chainsaw (if charged, the chainsaw explodes)
  • Down Smash: Swings his alligator around
  • Neutral B: Does 'rock on' sign with his hands and makes things explode.
  • Forward B: Uses his Xtreme Power and preforms a move somewhat similar to rollout but with lightning
  • Down B: A counter where he pulls out a squirrel, if it is attacked the squirrel latches onto the opponent and blows up while saying 'this game kinda sucks'
  • Up B: Pulls out a snake with a jetpack on it and flies up
  • Final Smash: Nukes, but it's okay, because he can fly
  • Up taunt: makes words fly out like 'balls' and 'to the max' and 'superfluous'
  • Side taunt: yells 'Xtreme!'
  • Down taunt: breaks a beer bottle on his crotch, which if it hits an opponent is a one-hit ko similar to the ultimate chimera
  • Neutral aerial: pulls out the snake with the jetpack and spins around with it
  • Forward aerial: attacks with his chainsaw which has katanas on it
  • Back aerial: drop kick
  • Up aerial: Pulls out a searchlight which negates any additional jumps by characters above him
  • Down aerial: blasts the ground below him with the exhaust from the snake's jetpack, spikes if it hits an airborne opponent

If you don't know who Johnny Xtreme is, just search Johnny Xtreme on youtube. You'll thank us.Semicolon 03:15, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Knuckles, Tails, Dixie (4 from mario, 3 from sonic, 3 from DKC) maybe Bowser Jr., but not rly.

What i would like is a Mario Smash bros game:

Dry Bones, Boo, Goomba, Hammer Bros (Maybe have two?), Koopa Troopa, Toad, maybe even Lakitu
-Ashran111 04:55, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

A Mario only smash game. Great idea! Blooper would have to be included too! And Paper Mario (Who also should have been in Brawl) could have hammer and jump attacks. He could use pixels or Crystal Stars for his final smash! The logo might be something like this.

                                   Super Mario Smash Bros.

Ah? Ah? I really think Bowser Jr. should have been in Brawl. He would use paint attacks. His color changes would be interesting. XXXXX 15:43, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Paper Mario in Brawl? You can't be serious. We already have one "flat" character (Mr. Game & Watch) and we certainly don't need another one. Besides, Paper Mario would just be a clone of Mario. They're the exact same person! Also, Paper Mario's graphics would be too hard to process into the game, given how bright and colorful he is. Sorry for sounding so critical, but overall it's a bad idea. - GalaxiaD 03:39, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Naw, I mean, there was young link and link, paper mario would have RPG style moves. but I wouldn't care for paper mario so much, I'd be more interested in one character for each main baddy. I forgot blooper obviously, but also shyguy! - Ashran111 14:58, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Geno, Ballon Fighter, Mach Rider and Game & Watch Jr. --Jigglypuff is God 03:48, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Exactly. Paper Mario would be different from Mario. He wouldn't be to hard to process and he's made of paper; flat but 3d paper. XXXXX 01:48, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

Ryu, from Street Fighter.
Neutral B: Block. Only works in front of Ryu. He brings his arm up to block an incoming attack. If properly performed, he takes only 1% damage, regardless of the attack, and no hitstun, plus no start-up or wind-down lag. If used on the ground, very little knockback. However, if it is used in the air, the knockback is halved.
Side B: Hadouken. Easily the slowest projectile in the game (think Ganondorf's dash). However, it does 10% damage, and can neither be absorbed or reflected. On the ground, it can be shot straight, or angled up or down at a 30° angle. In the air, it always goes down at 30°. Good for edgeguarding. (says "HaDOUken!")
Up B: Shoyruken. The famous jumping uppercut. He yells "SHOYruken!" when doing this. All vertical, no horizontal recovery. Doesn't hit opponents up, but rather knocks them away.
Down B: Hurricane Kick. There's some alternate name for this that also ends in -ken, but I can't spell that. Anyways, if used on the ground, he rises into the air, spinning with his leg outstretched, yelling the other name for it that I can't spell. However, in midair, he flies forward (actually, in a parabola) doing the same thing but with less knockback. Good for horizontal recovery, as you can still do a Shoyruken after.
Final Smash: Metsu Shoyruken. Ryu cringes, acting like he has just sustained a mortal wound, and lies on the ground - and enemies are like what. However, if you go above him - time stops. Ryu opens his eyes, which now have an evil glow, and does an uppercut to the top of the stage, yelling "SHOYRUKEN!!!!!!!!!"". OHKO move. This comes from the end of one of the Street Fighter games.

Neutral A: Punches with the right hand, then the left.
Forward Tilt: Ax Kick. Fast and fairly strong.
Down Tilt: Kicks with his leg. Looks like Ganondorf's D-Tilt.
Up Tilt: High Kick.
F-Smash: He steps forward and does a side kick (kicking straight out with his heel).
D-Smash: Does a sweeping kick on both sides.
Up Smash: Does a short Shoyruken.
Dash Attack: Does a shoulder tackle, like Ganondorf.

Nair: Punch. Hits opponents downward at a 30° angle.
Fair: Does a forward kick and punch at the same time.
Bair: Backwards kick. Looks like Samus's.
Uair: Uppercut. Good knockback.
Dair: A Stall-then-Fall. Looks like Sonic's.

Pummel: Knees opponent in the face.
Forward Throw: Punches opponent away.
Back Throw: While holding the opponent, rolls backward onto his back and kicks the opponent backward.
Up Throw: Kneels and does an uppercut.
Down Throw: Slams opponent into the ground behind him. Looks like Marth's D-Throw.

Up Taunt: Pumps his fist into the air.
Side Taunt: Crosses his arms.
Down Taunt: Kneels and beckons the opponent closer.
On-Screen Appearance: Appears holding a large, white punching bag behind him, then turns around. The punching bag disappears and Ryu assumes a fighting stance.
Weight: About CF's.
Run Speed: About Mario's.
Can't Wall jump, wall cling, or crawl.

Oh, and Shadow the Hedgehog. I have a .bmp of his moveset on my computer, but the Smashwiki is being gay and I can't upload.
Neutral B: Chaos Regeneration. This doesn't come from the games, but... Shadow sends a ring of Chaos energy a short distance around. If it gets hit by an energy projectile, it absorbs it and Shadow loses 1.5x the damage that would have done. It's like PSI Magnet but with one crucial difference: just as Nayru's Love is to Fox's reflector, so is Chaos Regeneration to PSI magnet. Translation; it only stays out for a short period of time.
Side B: Chaos Blast. Shadow sends out a ball of Chaos Energy, which can be charged. The longer it is charged, the stronger and bigger hitbox it gets. However, it has a fair amount of start-up lag.
Up B: Chaos Control. Shadow jumps into the air with his arms outstretched and a purple ball of Chaos energy around his fists, and teleports in a given direction. When he reappears, the fist energy has enough power to KO.
Down B: Chaos Reflect. A large purple sphere expands around Shadow and - well, you can guess what it does. It does a fair amount of damage and knockback to those next to it, but again, it only stays out for a short period of time.
Final Smash: Super Shadow. Duh. The Chaos Emeralds fly into Shadow, much like for Sonic, but Shadow yells "FEEL THE ULTIMATE POWER!". He can fly around like Super Sonic, but is somewhat slower and doesn't do damage by colliding into people. To attack, he shoots 5 Chaos Spears at 7% damage each from his hand (by pressing A) or one, 30% damage Spear (by pressing B).

Neutral A Combo: Swipes both hands to opposite sides of his body, and repeats. Doesn't keep the opponent close - actually has set knockback.
F-Tilt: Whacks his fist into opponents with Chaos energy surrounding it. Knockback is at a 45° angle upwards.
U-Tilt: Does a high kick. Fast, and like Shiek's f-tilt, moves opponents a bit closer.
D-Tilt: Holds his fist in front of him in a blocking position, and Chaos energy engulfs his fist.
F-Smash: Snaps his fingers while sort of growling, and a large sphere of chaos energy appears directly in front of him. Has a ring around it; slow, but powerful.
U-Smash: Pumps his arms downward on either side of him, and an even larger sphere of Chaos energy blossoms directly above him. Also slow.
D-Smash: Sweeps his hand across the ground, and 3 points - one in front of him, one in back, and one in the foreground - explode. Has a large start-up time. Mostly vertical knockback.
Dash Attack: While on one shoe, slides across the ground while flashing.

Nair: Makes a motion like his D-Smash. No explosions this time though - instead, his body pulses, and those who are touching Shadow get knocked away. High priority; good for stopping attacks.
Fair: Like his f-tilt, but with mostly horizontal knockback.
Bair: Does a spinning hooking kick.
Uair: Does a flip kick, like Zamus.
Dair: Stall-then-fall. The stall takes a bit longer than Sonic's, and the fall is more horizontal.

Pummel: Knees opponent in the face.
F-Throw: Shoots a horizontal blast of Chaos energy from the hand holding opponent, knocking them away.
B-Throw: Does a flipping kick like his uair, with backwards knockback.
U-Throw: Does a high kick to the opponent's face.
D-Throw: Throws opponent on ground and skates over them (you know Shadow's shoes? They have jet skates built in - they are used for this attack). This is basically unique among throws in that it moves Shadow forward (the opponent is knocked backwards).
Up Taunt: Floats into the air and does a flip before coming down.
Side Taunt: Throws a purple Chaos Emerald into the air and catches it.
Down Taunt: Kneels and flexes his arms downward. His fists are engulfed in Chaos energy.
On-Screen Appearance: Teleports in using Chaos Control. Run speed: Slightly slower than Metaknight (his jet skates).
Weight: Between Wolf and Link.
Run Speed: A little slower than Metaknight's.
Shadow can wall-jump.
Good, no? Runer5h 22:12, 30 April 2008 (UTC)Runer5h

Mega Man would be a better choice for a Capcom character, I mean yeah his games suck now but the classic Megaman rocks! Plus he could use his powers from the robot masters as his attacks, it would be awesome. Nintendo has previously stated that characters originally from fight game will not be included in smash. also Sonics alt costumes suck and it would have been nice if he had Shadow, Knuckles, and Silver alt costumes rather than a glut of sonic characters.Knifeblade 22:25, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

What about Zero?
Neutral B: Zero Buster. The classic buster appears on Zero's arm, and he shoots a blast of energy. Fairly fast but not all that strong. Hold for rapid fire.
Forward B: Dash. This does no damage from the actual dash, but it moves faster than Zero's run speed. And guess what? If you press A while dashing, you will execute a powerful spinning slash with the Z Saber.
Down B: Giga Fist. On the ground, he sticks his fist into the ground, and a plume of energy comes out, blasting characters away with high knockback, but low damage. If its in the air, it becoms a stall-then-fall, and Zero shoots down. It has a falling speed about that of his fast fall, but the farther down you travel, the bigger the energy plume gets.
Alternate Down B: Shield Boomerang. Hails from MMXZ rather than MMX. Only works for the one side, but is basically a counter with a twist; if hit by a projectile, it homes in on the original shooter (or the person who last reflected it).
Up B: Ryuengin. He jumps into the air with a fiery sword. Enemies are pulled up by the attack, and the last hit has fair knockback.
I don't know about his Final Smash.

Neutral A Combo: Downward Slash, Horizontal Slash, Powerful Overhead Slash
F-Tilt: Strong Swipe with the sword, angled downward.
F-Smash: Raijingeki. He shoots a long-ranged electric lance-type blast from his buster.
U-Tilt - Stabs above him; looks like Marth's U-Smash, but less knockback and damage.
U-Smash - Slash from his feet to above his head, but not quite directly above. His sword is fiery for this one.
D-Tilt - Crouching, he slashes across the ground.
D-Smash - Visually similar to Giga Fist, but with a shockwave.
Dash Attack - Stabs sword out in front of him.

Nair - Slashes in front of him. Looks like Zamus's Nair.
Fair - Kuubenu. Looks like Metaknight's nair, but better range and can spike with the initial hit, as well as Zero spinning slower.
Bair - Slashes behind him, looking like his nair in reverse.
Uair - Slashes above him. Like Metaknight's uair, but slower and in reverse (with more range).
Dair - Hyouretsazan. Stabs downward with an icy lance. Surprisingly, not much landing lag, because the lance shatters when it hits the ground. The shattered bits cause damage. No, it doesn't freeze.

Pummel: Shoots opponent.
Forward Throw: Slashes opponent forward with his Sword.
Back Throw: Throws opponent backward.
Up Throw: Does a short Ryuengin.
Down Throw: Throws opponent on ground, jumps up, and uses his Dair on them.

Up Taunt: Pumps his fist in the air.
Side Taunt: Turns and does a thumbs up.
Down Taunt: Makes Giga Fist energy engulf his fist.
On-Screen Appearance: Teleports in from a line of energy from the top.
Weight: About Link's.
Run Speed: Also about Link's.
Zero can wall cling and wall jump.
Cool huh? Runer5h 23:46, 1 May 2008 (UTC)Runer5h

Zero's Final Smash should be "Absolute Zero". He turns into Absolute Zero, making all his attacks stronger, his speed faster, and the ability to glide! Cool, huh? ParaGoomba348 (talk) 21:56, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

They were allowed to put any Jump Ultimate Stars or Final Fantasy characters that were in Mario Hoops 3 on 3. That and making Mii characters playable as in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. That would all have been legal and cool. (Enzeru 17:07, 1 May 2008 (UTC))

Anyone who thinks Ridley is too big to be playable should watch the Melee intro. The reason Sakurai didn't make Miis playable is because he doesn't think their games are "character-driven". --Trogga 18:42, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

MASTER CHIEF!!

Neutral B: Plasma Pistol. Press repeatedly for many small shots or hold for one big homing shot. However, after too many small shots or one big shot, it overheats; you can move around, but you can't attack.
Side B: Grenade. You can throw either a Plasma or Frag grenade, like Samus can shoot Homing or Super Missiles. Plasma Grenades stick to enemies, but are weak and take a long time to explode. Frag Grenades don't stick, but explode quickly and are strong.
Up B: Gravity Hammer. In the air, Master Chief flies upward while holding the Gravity Hammer. On the ground, it works like the Homing Attack. It can only home in on enemies in front of Master Chief, but has good range and is strong.
Down B: Bubble Shield. MC throws a Bubble Shield grenade below him, and it expands into a bubble that reflects projectiles (think Gardevoir for size). However, Master Chief is not tied to it - he can walk outside of it, and even attack from within it.
Final Smash: Spartan Laser. The Chief takes out the Spartan Laser, which takes the place of his Neutral B. You get five shots. Each one does about 23 damage and has much end lag. MC is not invincible for this one, but he can move around and use all of his other attacks.

Neutral A: Pistol Whip. He hits you with his Plasma Pistol.
F-Tilt: He stabs with his Plasma Pistol while it is overheating. A fast, multihit attack.
D-Tilt: He sweeps across the ground with the Pistol.
U-Tilt: Like his f-tilt, but upwards and more powerful.
F-Smash: He Smacks the opponent with the Gravity Hammer. Looks like Ness's F-Smash, but slower, better range, and more powerful.
D-Smash: Throws a grenade to either side of himself, and the grenades explode. Looks like Olimar's D-Smash. The grenades can be either frag or plasma grenades (damage and knockback remain unaffected).
U-Smash: Shoots a powerful, but very short ranged, Plasma Pistol shot upwards.
Dash Attack: Sticks the overheating pistol out in front of him.

Nair: Like his Neutral A, but in midair.
Fair: Swings the hammer in front of him.
Bair: Throws a grenade (either kind) a short distance behind him, where it explodes.
Uair: Like his U-Tilt, but in midair.
Dair: Swings his hammer below him.

Pummel: Shoots the opponent.
F-Throw: Blasts opponent in front of him with a fully charged pistol shot.
B-Throw: Throws opponent behind him and slams the Gravity Hammer on top of them.
U-Throw: Throws opponent above him.
D-Throw: Throws opponent on the ground in front of him and hits them with an overheating pistol.
Up Taunt: Twirls his Plasma Pistol around his hand.
Side Taunt: Tosses a frag grenade up and down in front of him.
Down Taunt: Crouches, and aims his Plasma Pistol in front of him, then behind.
On-Screen Appearance: You know the scene in Halo 2 where the pods come down and Master Chief comes out of one? (Cortana: Could we possibly have made a bigger noise? MC: Pulls out a rocket launcher. Cortana: I guess so...) That's what happens, but without the bit in parentheses.
Weight: A bit less than DK's. Surprised? He's got that huge effing suit of armor, after all.
Run speed: About G&W's.
MC can crawl. However, he is not prone on the floor - he is just crouching and walking along while doing so.

Gee! It sure is boring around here! That's right! The CD-i characters should have been in Brawl. Sure, their games sucked, but they fail so much that they're cool. Besides, the YouTube Poops on YouTube make them hilarious, so they definitely need to be in a Smash game some time in the future. I also have an idea for CD-i Ganon's Final Smash! He simply gives them this offer: "Join me, (place character's name here)! And I will make your face the grrrrrreatest in Koridai! Or else you will DIE!" Before he gives the offer, you can choose what character you wish to give the offer to. However, the character you choose to bargain with can't choose anything! Instead, after the offer's been given, Ganon will push his face up against the screen, blocking everyone's view and delivering an instant KO to the character you bargained with. However, you can only bargain with one character per Final Smash, so go for the character in first place. If you get lucky, the characters who can't see after Ganon pushes his face against the screen will SD, resulting in multiple KO's. So, what do you think? - GalaxiaD 23:57, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

I think you're on crack. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.255.109.25 (talkcontribs) 15:29, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
Are you kidding? There's one thing about Master Chief: HE'S NOT A NINTENDO CHARACTER! He's a Microsoft character. And by taking that character idea, Nintendo will be receiving lawsuits by Microsoft for using Master Chief without Microsoft's permission. So Master Chief's a bad idea. LOLZ. I was pretty stoned last night. - GalaxiaD 20:42, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Let's not forget Gwonam! His Final Smash? "Squadallah! We're off!" He crashes his magic carpet into any characters within range and they get sent flying! However, it is possible to survive his Final Smash, depending on your damage percentage. You can aim Gwonam's trajectory by tilting the Control Stick. How about that? - GalaxiaD 21:03, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

To anyone why Megaman isn't in brawl, it's because Nintendo holds a vendetta on Capcom. Capcom's game: Resident Evil 4 (which by the way, one of the best games I've played.) was supposed to be only for Gamecube, but of course it was also release for PS2 and PC. Capcom was worried that Resident Evil 4 wouldn't sell much in the Gamecube. Still, it was a bad move from Capcom even though Capcom agreed it would be only for Gamecube from the very beginning. I really wanted Megaman to be in Brawl (Same goes for Geno), but a vendetta is a vendetta and I blame Capcom and their stupid move. Chaos F15 21:43, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

So what universe would Bowser Jr. be in? He's been both antagonists for the Super Mario Bros universe and Yoshi's Island. I think he'd fit better in Yoshi's.... he needs more reps! =O ItemHazard 23:38, 11 May 2008 (UTC) ItemHazard

Without a doubt, Roy and Mewtwo should be in Brawl (Mewtwo had his own moveset, Roy is much better than Ike) If I had to choose a Newcomer, Quick Man, snover, scizor and/or hitmonchan would be chosen by me.--User:Mudkipz 01:58, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

I wished Birdo and a different F-zero character was on Brawl. I picture Birdo being a Yoshi/ Samus hybrid, so figuring out a workable moveset wouldn't be that difficult. However, I can sympathize finding out a different kind of moveset for another F-zero character. I also wished they had kept Dr. Mario, though I think he and Mario would be even more similar with less gravity.-- SUDS —Preceding unsigned comment added by S U D S (talkcontribs) 16:07, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

I think it would be cool being able to make a F-Zero character! Since all they do is drive around in cars (or car thingies,) you can make up whatever you want! Also, Birdo would be neat, but is she popular enough?Maxiscool 22:16, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

How about Crash Bandicoot? He's appeared on a Nintendo console before, and he's also originated from a video game. A lot of his moves and abilities from his games would be nice additions into the series as well, not to mention his crazy personality. Overall, Crash would make a nice 3rd party character in the next installment. - GalaxiaD (talk) 21:20, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

My personal wishlist for the next game is: Isaac,Ray,Stafy,Balloon Fighter,Paper Mario,Knuckles,Masked Man,Minun and Plusle, and a Pokemon Rival(Mudkip,Quilava, and Torterra. I think the rival should be that guy from Colosseum.SonicROBTrainer (talk) 02:07, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Here's mine: Chibi-Robo, Deoxys, Ephraim, Hector, Stafy, Zoda, Jill, a Trainer from each region, Toon Zelda / Tetra, Jeff, Lyn, Little Mac, Custom Robo, Dr. Crygor, Waluigi, Andross (in his pre-mutated form). Ridley is too big, people, come on. I hope I never see Pichu again, obviously. And Assist Trophies: Fawful, Elitle Beat Agents, Skull Kid, Bowser Jr., Dr. Lobe, Kamek, Jimmy T., Blooper, and a bunch of ReDeads. Admiral Tobias (talk) 03:36, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Well, for a moveset for my Rival idea:

Mudkip(Crawl,Wall Cling,Wall Jump):

B-Water Pulse:Shoots out a ring of water in front of him. Sometimes an opponent will get the broken shield affect when hit, as the move normally confuses in Pokemon games.

Side B-Mud Slap:Slapping his tail, Mudkip sends out a semi-ranged splash of mud that deals moderate damage and knockback.

Up B-Whirlpool:Mudkip dashes upwards in a controlled tilt, with a long thin cyclone swirling behind him. Foes get sucked in, then launched out at the end of the move.

Quilava(Crawl,Wall Jump):

B-Ember:Shoots fast-firing fireballs from his mouth, working like Fox's blaster but slower with a flinch.

Side B-Flame Wheel:A chargeable attack that works like Yoshi's egg roll or Sonic's spin dash. However, it the strongest but slowest rolling move in the game.

Up B-Defense Curl:He turns into a ball and bursts upwards, and the direction is controlled just like Lucario's extremespeed.Since this is "Defense" curl, he can take damage while recovering but can't be knocked back.

Torterra:

B-Crunch:Like Wario, he bites them, but it works like Bowser's side special from Melee, where you press B to bite and you can throw them.

Side B-Wood Hammer:Charge it like Ike's quick draw, and release to slam opponents with your tail, as long as they are right in front of you, because it's a stationary attack. While charging, his tail grows into a glowing green hammer shape. (Sceptile's leaves can turn into blades, so why not Torterra?)

Up B-Leaf Storm:Swirling around Torterra is a tornado of leaves. Torterra spins in his shell like Bowser to recover. The tornado around him causes damage and reflects projectiles.

Final Smash-Triple Punishment:(Must be right next to enemy to work)Mudkip smacks opponent into the air with Aqua Tail,Quilava jumps into the air, slamming them down with Flare Blitz, and Torterra, on the ground, pushes them off the screen with Giga Impact.SonicROBTrainer (talk) 02:26, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

Hornet (Daytona USA)[edit]

Here's a character of my own: Hornet (Daytona USA, not from Fighters Megamix)

Ground Attacks:

  • Neutral B: Performs a 720 spin around (press B three times) its foes. 5 - 10% damage
  • Dash Attack: Slides sideways at a perpendicular speed, ramming rivals. 9% damage
  • Strong Side: Slams head-on at rivals. 15% damage or more the faster the car goes
  • Strong Up: Pops its hood three times. 12% damage
  • Strong Down: Goes upside down and slides torwards foes. 17% damage

Other:

  • Ledge Attack: Gets up and goes upside down from the front, crushing foes nearby. 15% damage

Smash:

  • Side Smash: Spins its back wheels (releases smoke in the process) and will collide head-on at opponents at mid-to-high speeds. Has a great knockback and inflicts 25% damage. This move is somewhat hard as the car may have a hard time stopping
  • Up Smash: Acts as if it crashed into a wall and becomes airborne and tumbles. Does 18% damage
  • Down Smash: Releases fire from its exhaust pipes and anyone is near the car will get fire damage. 20% damage

Aerial:

  • Neutral Aerial: Pops it hood open, inflicting damage to its foes. 5% damage for each hood popping open (by pressing B repeatedly)
  • Forward Aerial: Does a 360 spin at its enemies. Has fair damage
  • Back Aerial: Removes its back bumper and acts as a projectile and after it does damage to its enemies, the rear bumper is back in its place. Does minor damage, but has good knockback
  • Up Aerial: Backflips two times at nearby enemies. Does 17% damage, most likely because of its extreme weight
  • Down Aerial: Barrel rolls on the way down. This attack can be deadly as this causes its foes to be stuck on the ground for a short periods of time. Does moderate damage

Grabs & Throws:

  • Pummel: Traps and crushes foes with its front. 5% damage
  • Forward Throw: Rams its enemy away and then slams on its brakes for knockback. 10% damage

  • Down Throw: Drives over to its downed foe and spins its back wheels (in reverse). 5% damage each

Special Moves:

  • Standard Special Move: Tire Throw - Hornet's pit crew rushes in and grabs spare tires and throws it at foes. Average knockback and 9% damage
  • Side Special Move: Powerslide - Though similar to a Dash Attack, "Powerslide" , will make Hornet slide sideways longer and faster and is able to plow through foes. Great knockback and does 30% damage
  • Up Special Move: Barrel Roll Upward - Performs a 5x barrel roll and is great to grab hard-to-reach platforms. it can also inflict damage to enemies very well (24% damage)
  • Down Special Move: Pit Stop - Hornet's pit crew rushes in to make a quick pit stop to change Hornet's tires and possible repair (30% less damage). Any foes comes near it will receive 10% damage and will have a slight knockback. Each different tires can inflict different damage (Easy tires for less knockback and Hard tires for great knockback)
  • Final Smash: Ultimate Sling Shot - Revs its engine loudly while spinning its back wheels rapidly (which makes the smoke thick) and a speedometer appears and shows its speed increases extremely fast and reaches 250 mp/h. Once its speed has reached to maximum, it stops spinning back wheels and races off the screen for a short while (at insane speeds, but does'nt get a Suicide KO), instantly KOing (100% damage) foes for those who are caught standing on Hornet's path. Though the Hornet misses all 4 enemies, the extremely strong wind quickly approaches at its rivals and will sweep them away from the screen, with no chance of escaping. Hornet then hops back to the stage, unscathed.
  • Hornet's Stage: Three-Seven Speedway
    • Hazards: 40 cars will zoom past by the track, thus slamming foes head-on at high speeds. Results in a One-Hit KO

    • Turns off its engine and starts it up again
  • Death Cry:
    • KO: If Hornet is KO'd off the screen, it will rev its engine loudly for 5 seconds before its engine dies out
    • Star KO: If Star KO'd, Hornet will rev its engine loudly two times before dissapearing into a twinkle star

    • Grasshopper, Falcon, Lightning
    • "Rolling Start!!" (slides in and out of the screen and acts like in the beggining of a race. Can ram through foes and inflict 25% damage)

  • On-Screen Appearance:
    • Hornet's Pit Crew is seen refueling and changing tires, and runs off after preparing the Hornet car

Mr.Christie (talk) 05:19, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

This sounds pretty good, but in the games Attack-Deoxys is one of the fastest Pokémon in existence, so why should it be slow in Brawl? I think only its attack should be slow in the attack form.

because no character can be perfect. 75.155.126.12 23:51, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

And here something I want to add:

On-Screen-Appeareance: A meteor crashes into the battlefield, Deoxys ejects form this meteor
Victory Pose 1: Charges a Zap Cannon in normal form between his tentacles and laughs
Victory Pose 2: Flies around in speed form, leaves the screen, and then slowly comes down from sky
Victory Pose 3: Changes through all of its forms and laughs

Side B-Geno Clone: Geno rushes towards oppponents as two Geno clones are behind him. Similar to Fox Illusion.

If you don't know who Geno is, play Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. You'll thank me. Remember to give me feedback on my list. ParaGoomba348 (talk) 21:27, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

With that moveset, Geno would be another space animal. Even with a unique standard moveset, people would shout "SPACE ANIMAL ALERT!!!" if they decided to give Geno modified versions of Fox's B moves. That's the reason why Wolf is a space animal. I wouldn't mind one special being similar though. But congrats on not giving Geno a Landmaster. Other than the specials, it's a pretty good moveset. --TStick (talk) 22:07, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

SPACE ANIMAL????? Geno is NOT a Space Animal. Have you played Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (runner-up for best game ever made)? Well, you should, then you'll find out who Geno is. That moveset is NOT like fox's. Geno has NO fire in his up + b, and it's arrows of Red and Blue giving him super armor frames and one hit, not being able to hit while charging, takes a longer time to charge, goes a longer distance, and you can curve it like extremespeed. Star Gun is WAY more capable of random fire than Blaster, and they can't be reflected or absorbed. Star Shine is NOT like a counter, it's more like PSI Magnet. And Geno Clone, I admit, is like Fox Illusion, but stronger and goes a longer distance. And finally, Geno is similar to Lucario, Fox and Ness, not just Fox. Who're you calling a space animal? ParaGoomba348 (talk) 23:17, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

You said that Star Shine was like Fox's Reflector, but has startup lag instead of ending lag in your description. And you hardly, if any mentioned any of the differences of Star Gun, Geno Boost, and Geno Clone until your last post. And he has some Ness and Lucario quailties, but he's a lot more similar to Fox.

And I played Super Mario RPG. Geno's that doll guy in blue that joins Mario to collect the seven wishing stars to fix Star Road and have wishes come true again. I just think it's funny for Geno to have a special moveset that's very similar to Fox's like how Ganondorf has a modified version Captain Falcon's special moveset. It's hard to think of a moveset that have specials that aren't similar to another, but a (more even) mixture of ideas from multiple characters for the specials to have more variety might help. --TStick (talk) 23:54, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

Whoa, you are GOOD. Yes, I LOVE it. On my favorite games, Super Mario RPG is right below EarthBound, and I think EarthBound is the best game ever made (speaking of EarthBound, Ninten should have been in it too) so Super Mario RPG has a great position. Also, please note that GENO IS THE BEST SMRPG CHARACTER EVER MADE! EVER!!!!! Sorry, lost track of the point. So anyway, I did that because what else would I do? Geno Whirl? Geno Beam? Those two are unfair. Geno Whirl would Kill enemies, while Geno Beam would be like Zero Laser. What else did I have to do?

P.S. Mallow would have been a good character too.

P.P.S. On second thought, Mallow shouldn't be in.

P.P.P.S. Just Kidding.

P.P.P.P.S. People call him a wimp. Should he be lightweight?

P.P.P.P.P.P.S. Geno is better than Mallow. Mallow is a wimp.

P.P.P.P.P.P.P.S. Just kidding.

P.P.P.P.P.P.P.P.S. Mallow is ok. ParaGoomba348 C'mon, just talk to me 00:27, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Maybe Geno Whirl could have the one hit kill part be removed, so that it wouldn't be cheap. Then it would be a sped up Razor Leaf. But yeah, Geno Beam would be cheap. By the way, I wish that I played Earthbound. --TStick (talk) 00:57, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Krystal should of been in instead of Falco staying. Wolf is a cooler character than Falco, so he shouldn't be canned. --TStick (talk) 03:25, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

On second thought, Wolf and Falco can both be kicked out to have Krystal and Isaac intead. Either that or remove the pointless trophy and sticker features that nobody would care about and have all four of them and more in, so that more people would be happy. Yeah, removing those useless and stupid features for something more meaningful and more people care about like Krystal, Ridley, Geno, Non-clone Ganondorf with a sword, Megaman, etc. would be better than kicking out characters. --TStick (talk) 01:13, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

What are you talking about?they can't kick Falco out I mean for freaks sake he's Falco, it would also make a lot of Fans angry.Wolf is a so-so character I mean there is nothing really special about him in the star fox games.Issac would be a cool character but Megaman is originating from a Non RPG Fighting game which Sakurai said he would never put in. - Hatake91 (talk) 01:22, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Megaman isn't from a fighting game - his first game was a platformer. Runer5h (talk) 22:52, 22 July 2008 (UTC)Runer5h

I did say to not have trophies and stickers in the next game as an alternative to kicking out characters, so that they can focus their time and energy on having characters return and making new ones that are highly demanded. And even though Wolf isn't even as good as Wario, he would be missed pretty much if they removed him. Maybe have at least a 50 slot (meaning Zelda/Shiek would be one slot, as well as Samus/Zamus and Pokemon Trainer) roster in the next game. --TStick (talk) 01:40, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Bosses, Yo![edit]

There should've been a lot more "real" characters as bosses. They could've easily replaced Meta Ridley with Kracko or Dynablade. Not a single Kirby boss. Also Andross, possibly once in the head and hands and then in the vector form. Groudon, Kyogre, Metroid Prime, Cackletta, Gohma, Helmaroc King Admiral Tobias (talk) 03:36, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Why just talk?[edit]

I think, instead of telling which chars should be in brawl, we can either

A: Write a letter to the creator of smash series, or

B:Create our own brawl.

Writing a letter is a good idea, except that there's the chance that Sakurai wouldn't read any letters or e-mails concerning characters for the next game. Worth a shot though.

Another suggestion would be to keep sending pictures of Trophies and Stickers (even though I don't like those collectables otherwise) that have characters you want in the next game to the online service. There's a chance that Sakurai or whoever else looks at the submitted snapshots would see that people care about those characters and better their chances of being in SSB4. --TStick (talk) 19:22, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Melee returners...[edit]

It seemed rather unfair of Brawl to not include some of the better Melee characters. I think most would agree Pichu wouldn't be wanted back and that Toon Link is about the same as Young Link, but Roy, Mewtwo and Dr. Mario would be welcome re-additions. And really, how hard would it be the give them the few new things needed for Brawl? Dr. Mario's Final Smash? Epidemic. (Think Waddle Dee Army, but with viruses.) Roy? Firestorm. Holds up sword and out come three rings of fire. Like Tabuu's attack. Powerful, but balanced because of how practiced people are at dodging it. Mewtwo's could be Shadow Explosion, involving radiating Shadow Balls. Add some taunts, trophy descriptions, and Codecs for Snake and you're done! Miles.oppenheimer (talk) 20:21, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

If only it were that simple. It is difficult to make characters, even old ones, and frankly, I would not want to wait another two weeks (give or take) for Brawl so they could add Dr. Mario. Maxiscool (talk) 20:52, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

I suppose you're right. Just fantasy, I guess... Then again, so is most of this page. In any case, I also thought Waluigi could have been an effective and fun playable character (not just AT), but still, no complaints. Miles.oppenheimer (talk) 18:52, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

The Major Issues[edit]

Lynn is my number one choice for inclusion. All the Fire Emblem guys have been... guys. Smash Bros. needs more female characters. I'd pick Lynn because she was just awesome in Fire Emblem. Fast, strong, beautiful, the works. And in my opinion, Brawl did a terrible job at recreating her critical hit. Another would be the Pokemon Blaziken. Possibly another Captain Falcon knockoff, but if they worked it right, who knows. Lloyd Irving and Sheena Fujibayashi from Tales of Symphonia. The Gamecube's Tales of Symphonia had controls nearly identical to Smash.

How about crash bandicoot and spyro? Solar flute (talk) 06:40, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

also could somebody archive this, it is way too long for my browser.
