I'd like to get some opinions on this, even if it may seem obvious. Out of N64, Melee, and Brawl, which one do you think is the best? - GalaxiaD (talk) 05:12, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

Well i've never played N64, so is melee or brawl... probably brawl cause my favorite characters got buffed :)JtM (talk) 05:15, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

Your right it is obvious, its The first Super Smash Bros. It's because it started the smash series. Learner4 (talk) 12:58, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

Smash 64. Back then, it was an HONOR to be in Smash Bros. Now we've got like what, 40 characters total? It ruins the purpose of an All-Star Cast. Max2 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Max2 (talkcontribs) 13:56, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

Melee. It was my first one and I spent years playing it to the point of perfection. Then Brawl's dumbed down gameplay ruined that.SonicROBTrainer (talk) 00:42, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

64. I have brawl, and I still go back to 64, i don't have my 64 anymore so i play it on p64. melee was the worst of the three easily. - Ashran111 (talk) 19:24, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

Really? Most of the people I ask say Melee was by far the best. Of course, I disagree with them and say Brawl is best, but I'm shocked to hear you say it was the worst. That's something you don't hear everyday. - GalaxiaD (talk) 05:18, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

i think that brawl is the best they have sonic and his assist throphy shadow in thereMichael45672 (talk) 01:59, 16 August 2008 (UTC)michael45672

I personally find Melee to be the best of the three. I'm still pending, however, as I do not own Brawl. (Wolf O'Donnell (talk) 05:21, 30 May 2008 (UTC))

Brawl is my favorite,Melee just seemed to get too competitive for me(even though I'm very competitive)and seemed to drain the fun out with all these techniques I had to put in second nature.the nintendo 64 one was great and I still have it! since I loved how it was so fluid and funny plus being alot more newbie friendly(ever try to meteor in this after playing brawl? You'll be amazed...) I'd post a long paragraph about my opinon, but you've practicly hit the nail on the head( and the reduction of clones didn't hurt 8P) Fossilgojira (talk) 20:37, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Melee is the best, I mean, Roy and Mewtwo (My Two Mains) Only apper in it (Though atleast Mewtwo should had been in Brawl). 64 in my opinion had the best stages, (*cough* Mushroom Kingdom, Saffaron city *cough *cough*) Brawl has the best graphics but I think it is way too easy to die in it compared to 64 or Melee. the only thing i don't really like of 64 is that most of it is 2-D, 2-FreakingD!--User:Mudkipz (talk) 14:16, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

Honestly, a redo of SSB64 with better graphics and controls would be amazing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ashran111 (talkcontribs) 19:24, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

melee made it competetive and im that typeof person so i like it the best 75.12.169.145 03:45, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

I would have to say Brawl. While I used wavedashing, lcancelling and all that crap, I have to go with Brawl. I liked the pace of Melee, but in Brawl, the characters are balanced, and you don't need to master the advanced techs just to be good at the game. While I mained Dr. Mario and Pichu in Melee, I have adapted to Jigglypuff and other chars. Melee comes in close second, though. huntercrunch (talk)

You didn't need to master the advanced techs in Melee to be good either. Honestly, all I ever did was l-canceling, and it was usually by mistake. Does this mean that I'm not good at Melee? The answer, kind gentleman, is no. I was great at holding my own in that game, even without the fancy advanced techs. Still, Brawl is better, because there's more characters, more stages, and far less glitches. The Smash series gets better with every installment. How about we make that an official rule? - GalaxiaD (talk) 19:57, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Ugh, I can't decide on this. The old smash bros had it's fun with limited capacity and simplistic play. I also liked its stages. The melee has roy and mewtwo, samus extension glitch, and I don't give for wavedashing. Brawl had it's challenges, Anytime-camera, Subspace, stickers, Ike, Marth, Music, and Stage Builder. Brawl has glitches, which I love exploiting. So I could say brawl is ownage. Melee, I had a good time with Dr. Mario along with Roy and Mewtwo. n64, I love the pipes in mushroom kingdom, and board the platforms. So...I guess brawl has to be the best. My melee disc broke, so I couldn't play it. So when brawl came, I thought it'd be hard to come back to playing smash. But brawl denotes an easier getback curve. So brawl=best. Nothing beats its music. Zexas A. (talk) 02:23, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
