'''Bounty Hunters''' ({{ja|バウンティ・ハンター|Baunti Hantā}}, ''Bounty Hunter'') is the 17th [[event match]] of the 51 event matches in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]''.

The player controls {{SSBM|Samus}} and must win a 2 minute [[stock]] match against a CPU {{SSBM|Bowser}} on the [[Jungle Japes]] stage. Samus is competing against a CPU {{SSBM|Captain Falcon}}, registered as an ally to ensure they cannot hurt each other. The CPU Bowser's [[artificial intelligence]] is set at Level 6, while the CPU Captain Falcon's artificial intelligence is set at Level 7.

When the match starts, Samus will spawn on the leftmost platform, while Bowser will spawn on the left side of the main platform, and Captain Falcon will spawn on the rightmost platform. Bowser is slightly bigger-than-normal in this event match. Samus must get the [[KO]] on Bowser. If Bowser [[self-destruct]]s or Captain Falcon KOs him, the event will end in failure. The event does not end in failure if Captain Falcon is KO'd.
