'''Central Mexico''' is a ''Smash'' region that consists of the State of México (or Edomex) and the federal entity Mexico City (or CDMX); the latter is also the capital of the entire country. The region borders [[North Central Mexico]] states  Guanajuato and Querétaro; [[West Mexico]] state Michoacán; [[South Mexico]] states Guerrero and Morelos; and [[East Mexico]] states Hidalgo, Puebla, and Tlaxcala.

Central Mexico has historically featured some notable players, including {{Sm|Dext3r}} for ''Smash 64''. However, in ''Smash 4'' and ''Ultimate'', Central Mexico is considered one of the strongest, if not the strongest, ''Smash'' regions in Mexico, with players who not only rank highly in Mexico, but also have been ranked globally.
