==Mini-head icons==
There are sprites seen in the actual game, like in previous games. They are slightly different (outline is even along the entire sprite, Sonic's has his shoe(?) under his head). :Yeah there's two versions of the head icons, both of which are used in different places: these large ones, and the smaller ones you're talking about. I was debating whether to upload the small ones for two reasons:
:#Arguably, they don't really have a use. We wouldn't be using them for things like tournament results while we have the large ones, and I wasn't really sure if any difference between the two sets was notable enough to demonstrate.
:#They're distorted around the edges. Each of the images is 16px square, but the head itself is only 14 - and instead of a blank space around the edge to frame them, the edge is a copy of the pixels one row/column further towards center. So either I'd upload them as-is and they look weird, or I'd fix the "bleeding" effect to make them look right - which would involve editing 400+ images. Unless I can get XL to do this, I'm not currently inclined to do so without a good reason. Okay, so it's now possible for XL to upload the small head icons properly as I said had potential above. That said, I still don't really know what the point of doing so would be. In addition, we'd need to name them somehow distincetively (maybe just by adding a "Small" or "Mini" on the end?) and potentially have separate categories for them. Anyone care to discuss? ==Wii U icons==
According to the directs, the head icons are actually for the Wii U, not the 3DS. [[:User:ZeldaStarfoxfan2164|ZeldaStarfoxfan2164]] ([[User talk:ZeldaStarfoxfan2164|talk]]) is made in America  18:55, 26 October 2014 (EDT)
