Every claimed reference needs a source. Claimed sources need to be plausible, not terribly obscure. Default costumes usually don't need descriptions since they are not alternate costumes. Returning costumes original to Smash do not need references to their appearances in previous Smash games.

As it was in the previous game, while Headgear can be worn by all Mii Fighters, the Outfits are more selective.

The [[Sans]], [[Cuphead]], [[Vault Boy]], [[Bomberman]], [[Pig]], and [[Creeper]] costume options are unique in that they completely remodel the Mii Fighter using them (as opposed to being a costume with the Mii underneath).
