Zero Suit Samus (SSBB)

Zero Suit Samus (ゼロスーツサムス, Zero Sūtsu Samusu), often abbreviated as ZSS, 0SS or Zamus, is a character appearing in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Zero Suit Samus lacks power and stamina compared to Samus, but is faster. She uses a gun known as the Paralyzer, which can also be converted into a Plasma Whip. Her whip can be used to recover, similar to Samus' Grappling Beam or Link and Young Link's Hookshot.

Based on the most recently released trailer for SSBB, Zero Suit Samus will be most comparable to Sheik. She appears to be able to jump much higher in relation to Sheik, however. Her dash attack in the trailer appeared to be comparable to Fox's in SSBM. It was also seen that Zero Suit Samus will be able to change from Paralyzer to Plasma Whip at will.

The impact from Samus' Final Smash attack (Zero Laser) is enough to remove her Power Suit, transforming her into Zero Suit Samus. It is unknown whether this transformation can take place without performing Samus' Final Smash, or whether Zero Suit Samus is able to transform back into normal Samus.
