==Trivia==
*On the reveal of Diddy Kong, one of the images shows Diddy Kong with Mario on the [[Boxing Ring]] stage, which has changed back to its "Smash" motif, indicating that the stage's motif is dependent on Little Mac.
**To further prove this, an image of Diddy Kong and Little Mac was also shown with the "World Champion" motif under them.

Diddy Kong (ディディーコング, Didī Kongu) will be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4. He was confirmed on February 21, 2014, the international release date of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. Like Donkey Kong, Diddy has more stylised fur than he did in Brawl, and his limbs have greater elasticity when he attacks.

Confirmed information

  • Diddy Kong's more elastic limbs stretch out farther in his attacks, which will give an apparent significant increase in the reach of his attacks.
  • The following moves appear visually unchanged:
  • Diddy's Up tilt now forms in a fist.
