Edit the mainspace

I noticed that according to Special:Editcount/YoshiEggs, most of your edits have been to user pages or the Forum (which includes the Smash Arena). Please contribute to the mainspace (e.g. pages like Marth (SSBM) or Egg Throw) as well to user pages/the Forum. As a warning, users who did not contribute constructively to the mainspace and instead spent most of their time on their user page or the Smash Arena have had their user pages protected, such as User:Zeldasmash, and closer to home, User:LightningBlue. He's been here less than a week, and he has made a few mainspace edits. Generally, this doesn't become a problem unless he's around the 2 month mark and has contributed less than 30% of his edits to mainspace. Mr. Anontalk 20:43, 9 February 2012 (EST)

It is not a policy, and it should not be. The only blocks that were ever given were due to the user being unproductive, and taking up a lot of recent changes in their userspaces. This constitutes as disruption. Zeldasmash and Lightningblue at the time of their user page protections had virtually no constructive mainspace edits, and the former was often disruptive. It's up to a warning user how long a user should be here before userspace protection is deemed needed. I typically give users about a month to see if they're only interested in their userspace/Smash Arena, as many new users tend to focus on these when they first join. Hey. I've noticed that you've been asking some users for pointers on how to make a signature (e.g. how to change the font, how to add an image), so I've made one for you. It looks like this;

OK, firstly, there was one more mistake that didn't show up on the browser I was using earlier;

If you use that, the word Eggs will be green as well. But I've noticed from looking at Special:RecentChanges that you don't seem to have applied the signature correctly. Here's some more detailed instructions;

1) Copy the signature data above.

2) Go to Special:Preferences

3) Paste the signature data into the section labelled Signature

4) Tick the box saying "Treat this as wikitext"

5) Hit save.

By doing this, your custom signature will show up whenever you sign with ~~~~. And nice to have another girl, I guess. Toast ltimatum 11:52, 10 February 2012 (EST)

Userpage image

I don't think SmashWiki allows those kind of images on userspace. If you want a user image, you'll have to upload it yourself. As it currently is, it is very large and may disrupt users' browsers. Mr. Anontalk 21:26, 13 February 2012 (EST)

IRC Ruleset

It has come to my attention that you continue to violate 2 rules on Smash Wiki's IRC. The rules are as follow:

• Do not be disruptive to the channel. Being disruptive is defined here as behaving in a way that prevents conversation on the channel from happening.
• If you try to bring up a topic to talk about, and other users show no interest in talking about it or even tell you that they're not interested, you are expected to drop it.

Being new is not an excuse for not following those 2 rules. Users have provided logs showing how you have disrupted them. Another suggestion is that if you wish to speak to AB, you are not to use #dk as a method to do so. Several users have shown dislike towards those who use #dk exclusively to speak with users banned on #sw. Further violations of the rules will result in blocks of increasing duration. You are free to use WebChat, we aren't stopping you.
