Welcoming users

Do it only for users that are new (who have joined within the week). And avoid welcoming a user until they made a good faith edit in the mainspace. You don't want to welcome a vandal/spammer, and welcoming someone who joined years ago and hasn't made an edit since is ridiculous. Omega Tyrant 21:47, 18 June 2011 (EDT)
