The term "tipper" can be used as a general term of reference for hitting with the tip of an attack, but is usually used in terms of the Home Run Contest and a select few attacks.
Tipper (HRC)
A tipper is a tactic in which, as one would expect, one hits the sandbag with the tip of the bat. This will deal 20% damage to the bag and send it quite a bit further than a close hit or midhit. For characters without attacks that send the bag further than the bat, this is the usual method of finishing.
An aerial tipper is simply a tipper in which one hits the bag while it is still in the air. Sends the bag slightly further than a normal tipper.
