The rest of the Super Smash Bros. 4 roster is to be announced and shown on a Monthy CoroCoro on August 12. Along with the roster, the rest of the Nintendo 3DS Version stages are also to be shown. - 14 July 2014
- Captain Falcon, Lucina, and Robin are revealed as playable characters in Super Smash Bros. 4. Chrom is confirmed to appear as part of Robin's Final Smash. Rayman will also appear as a trophy, despite being a third party character with no current connection to the Smash Bros. franchise.

- At EVO 2014, Mango, Hungrybox, and Armada take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively in Melee singles, and Hungrybox and Plup win Melee doubles.

- At Kings of Cali 4, Mango, Armada, and Mew2King take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively in Melee singles, and Armada and Mew2King win Melee doubles.
