ROOT Gaming is a professional esports organization based in the United States. Founded in March 2010 as a StarCraft II team that became one of the most popular in North America, it has since expanded to Hearthstone and Dota 2

They opened a division for Smash Bros. on October 10th, 2015, with ChuDat being their first sponsored player. ChuDat left the team eight months later, on June 27th, 2016 and ROOT Gaming has left the Smash community since then.
