Mega Man's Shoryuken

I understand it's an up tilt, but it's still a Shoryuken regardless. Should Mega Man's up tilt be mentioned somewhere on this page, and if so, where? Bulbaboy (talk) 23:37, 14 June 2015 (EDT)

Yes, I'm also aware it's actually called Mega Upper, but it was still BASED on a Shoryuken, so most likely if it does get a shoutout on the page, it won't be a huge deal compared to Ryu's. Bulbaboy (talk) 23:45, 14 June 2015 (EDT)

Query about Tap vs. Hold for Shoryuken

From personal experience, the height of the move changes in addition to its power depending on whether the button is tapped or held, irrespective of using up B or dragon punch input. Would like confirmation on this and also to add this in if/once confirmed, since it actually means a great deal if Ryu has to recover from below. In addition, it seems that negative edged (hold the attack button, then input dragon up ch on the control stick, then release attack) Shoryukens only perform the shortest height/weakest version of it. 118.139.103.207 23:18, 15 June 2015 (EDT)

Confirmed. Weakest input Shoryuken deals 15% and ascends 1x Ryu's own height, strongest input deals 18% and ascends ~2x his height, negative input deals 15% and ascends 1x his height. b2jammer (talk) 13:40, 31 October 2015 (EDT)
