:Nevertheless, I do agree that it's speculation at best, but for the time being, let's keep the article. If it's SE-only, we'll move it to the relevant article; if it's unlockable, we'll keep it as is, and we'll deal with any other situations as they come. ::In other words, for now the article should be kept but not included in the Stages template as official, just like we're not having Shiek and Ganondorf's rumored SSBB appearances in the SSBB character template. EDIT: Actually, I see it's on the template already; the reason I doubt that's the best idea is because it could be a single-player stage like the Adventure Mode stages in Melee, which are not in the Melee stage template. It probably doesn't matter one way or the other for now, updates will clarify everything eventually. [[User:Erik the Appreciator|Erik the Appreciator]] 18:15, September 7, 2007 (EDT)

stage?

i didn't think of "The Arena" as a stage at all, but instead a set for a trailer. i think it's speculation to say it's a stage. your thoughts? FyreNWater 02:44, September 7, 2007 (EDT)

Why I added the Arena article:
  • Unconfirmed stages like Mario Circuit have only been shown for a few seconds. The Arena has been showcased in two videos and numerous screenshots.
  • The picture I chose looks like a battle scene; it would be redundant of Sakurai to pose the models that way if Arena won't be playable in some form.
  • Even if the Arena isn't in Subspace Emissary, it'll probably still be in the game data, and debug stages like Test and DUMMY have separate articles.
Nevertheless, I do agree that it's speculation at best, but for the time being, let's keep the article. If it's SE-only, we'll move it to the relevant article; if it's unlockable, we'll keep it as is, and we'll deal with any other situations as they come. WarxePB 13:31, September 7, 2007 (EDT)

In the new Subspace Emissary update, it showed it like a Final Destination plain stage. I think it will be a playable stage, since we've seen it in a actual fight. Definitely. Johnknight1 17:29, October 20, 2007 (EDT)
