This glitch can be performed with either ganondorf or captain falcon in brawl. Have either character jump on a spring (as far as i've tested, only custom stage springs), and the moment you touch the spring, press down B. You should spring much higher, almost 4 times higher with gannondorf. There are likely many more variables, such as the size of spring being jumped on.
