Mathos is a Midwestern smasher well-known for his laser spamming Falco. Mathos is a member of the Central Ohio Krew or CoK, which holds a semiannual tournament of the same name that brings the majority of the Midwest and special outside regions together. Recently Mathos, KishSquared, and AOB organized and created the Midwest Circuit, a schedule of tournaments bound by common rulings in hopes to bring the overall skill level into rivalary with the other regions.

Background

Mathos began his career at a lost to Smog at a local Delaware, Ohio EB tournament. From there him and fellow smash companion Watty travelled to FoBII. The pair excited their high school's smash clique and began regular appearences to smash tournaments.

The local group formed a crew titled Pain is Love (or P.I.L.), which eventually combined with another group while in college to form Central Ohio Krew. Mathos is considered the leader of CoK and is known for his commanding abilities of Falco's lasers. One of Mathos' most well-known matches is during the crew battles at FC3, where the majority of the match against Hugs and DA Wes were spent spamming lasers. Another notable achievements in Mathos' smash career include placing in the top 32 at Melee FC6.

Mathos co-hosted his first tournament CoKI with CoKmate Watty. Bringing in over 70 people to Watty's house from the midwest and Team Ben. With a start in tournament experience Mathos endevoured to help out at any tournament possible. By the end of 2006, the Midwest Committee started the Midwest Circuit with tournament hosts including the Ship of Fools, CoK, AOB. CoKII was the second Circuit event which Mathos' current girlfriend housed in a furnished two story barn. The second installment of the CoK tournies had over 80 participants with Teams, Singles, and Crew tournaments.
