Daniel Kish, aka "KishCubed" was an Indiana [[Sheik]] player.  His first tournament was in St. Louis, where he immediately made an impact by getting second place over already respected smashers Joshu, Ignatius, and Snex.  He was generally considered the best member of the [[Ship of Fools]], except for the occasional loss to KishSquared.  Even as he went through open heart surgery and a heart transplant, his tournament career continued to flourish, often taking Top 3 prizes until his final tournament at Flame of Bowser 3, where he placed 1st, going 2-0 the whole tournament against such players as DieSuperFly, Eddie, and Drephen.  He died in January of 2004 at the age of 18 from complications following heart surgery and rejection of the transplant.  MLG made a donation in his name to the Make-a-Wish foundation, a group that had touched Daniel's life.
