Smasher:Jesi

Jesi aka Silentjupiter (Smashboards)

Jesi is currently one of the few female smashers in the community. She plays falco and makes her home in the midwest. She has been with the smash community since August of 2004 and hopes to continue her involvement in the community well into the brawl generation.

Tournament History

Jesi travels with some regular tournament-goers from her crew based in Kansas City which include dmac, Darkrain, phatgamer, Z, DYC, and Rezo. She has competed in many large as well as local tournament series. Local tournaments include the Event series of 2004-05 in Lawrence or Kansas City, FFC tournaments in Omaha, NE as well as the not so close Innsomnia (which is gaining ground) in Nashville. Larger tournaments frequented include SMYM, FC and the MLG series within the last couple of years. Not achieving a high rank she mostly mingles at tournaments with friends, hopes for friendlies and cheers on current significant other, Darkrain, against his many opponents. She has never gone to a tournament and not competed.

Future Challenges

Jesi hopes to assemble a girl gamer league within the smash community and eventually compete in crew battles. Other well-known girl gamers that are known include: Snap-pop, Ash, Milktea and others. Unfortuntely, most of these women live far apart from eachother preventing a true female smash-league.

Jesi is also a student at the University of Missouri-Kansas City moving towards a degree in Graphics and eventually game animation.

Miscellaneous

Jesi also creates plush dolls, paintings and other figurines of smash icons easily recognized in the community; She is known to give away or sell such items. One such icon - the death turnip plush- belongs to Mike G, a Peach player. She also houses a plush white shy guy and is currently working on a Bob-omb for BigC.
