Affinity is a Meta Knight Main, and one of the most well known users of the character. He plays in the Midwest region where he places incredibly high, winning several tournaments. As a player he is known for pecking at the opponent, looking for openings and mistakes with which to capitalize on rather than trying to aggressively rush the opposition. He is also known for tech chasing with throws and having a very solid off-stage game with all of his characters. Together with Karmacide he forms the pair of Meta Gear Solid, the second most dominant doubles team in the area. The team is known for often attempting for the instant kill combo of Snake's C4 and Meta Knight's up throw. Affinity is very active in the smash comunity as a whole, lending to his reputation as both a good player and good person. He has performed decently well outside of the Kansas area but still spends much of time improving his game. He also has a friendly rivalry with fellow Meta Knight Main, Domo.
