It is unknown exactly what it was intended to be, however a common belief is it was meant to be the Pokémon '''Plusle''' and '''Minun''' together as a planned playable duo similar to [[Ice Climbers]]. This belief comes from the first three letters of the names when directly converting from the original Japanese to Roman text ('''Pra'''seru and '''Mai'''nan), respectively. Plusle and Minun also appear together as a trophy, furthering this belief. However, there is no evidence that it is the pair of characters as the package is unfinished.
