It is unknown exactly what it was intended to be, however a common belief is it was meant to be the Pokémon '''Plusle''' and '''Minun''' together as a planned playable duo similar to [[Ice Climbers]], going by the first three letters from the Japanese versions of the names ('''Pra'''sel and '''Mai'''nan), respectively. Plusle and Minun also appear together as a trophy, furthering this belief. However, there is no evidence that it is the pair of characters as the package is unfinished.
