The Peanut Popgun is Diddy Kong's standard special move and is also his projectile weapon. The Peanut Popgun fires out peanuts that hit the opponent. The player can boost the speed of the shot by holding down the button. If the player holds the button down to long, the Peanut Popgun will explode in Diddy's face. Also, the shells may break at times, letting a little peanut pop out, which can be eaten, letting the player recover a little bit of damage.
