Overview
Ness performs a stomp attack, dealing 12%. This attack was nerfed from Smash 64 because of a number of factors; its speed was severely nerfed (comes out on frame 5 in Smash 64 but now comes out on frame 20 in Melee with much longer ending lag), it can no longer be used in DJC combos (because of its speed being hindered), it deals less damage/knockback scaling (from 15%/100 to 12%/70). It, however, has much higher base knockback (from 20 to 90), making it an extremely deadly KO option at 0%, if the opponent doesn`t meteor cancel, so the move is still effective in Melee, despite it being nerfed.
