The Marth Ladder is a strategy usable by a team of two Marths that allows them to both attain unreachable heights. Similar in concept to the Luigi ladder, and Pac-Ladder it involves two Marths repeatedly using their up special move, Dolphin Slash, alternately. As each Marth gets hit by the other's attack, they both climb successively higher until they are both out of reach for many opponents.

As a stalling technique, the Marth Ladder must be recognized and interrupted quickly, or the opposing team will have no way to counter it without a vertically long-ranged projectile such as Palutena's Arrow.

WARNING! The two Marths must be very careful or they will KO each other.
