The Gooey Bomb (Japanese: チューインボム, Chiyūin Bomu) is a confirmed item for SSBB. It takes on the appearance of a glowing orange blob. When thrown, it can stick to anything, even characters. Eventually it explodes, damaging anyone who gets hit. However, if it sticks to a character, they can pass it to others by running past them, making it sort of like a hot potato game.
The Gooey Bomb is an original item, and does not hail from any series.
