The origin of the bosses joining the Subspace Army is not revealed. Therefore, the only way to find out why the bosses joined Tabuu would be to ask Sakurai himself. - GalaxiaD (talk) 17:19, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Its entirely possible he was just defending his zoo, without knowing about Tabuu, or that he was being controlled like Master Hand was. Or both, at different times.–Entrea Sumatae 17:24, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
