Dedede Brooch

The Dedede Badge "Japanese デデデの時限スイッチ" is an item originating from the Subspace Emissary mode in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It appears to be an adhesive golden badge with an imprint of King Dedede's face on it. The badges are used to revive the wearer of their trophy state, and activate after a certain period of time has passed. Dedede appears to have been anticipating the attack that would turn everyone into their trophy states, and these badges were placed on Luigi (whom he ambushed), Ness and one of the Zelda after stealing their trophies from Wario. After the princess was taken from Dedede by Bowser in a surprise ambush, Kirby found the badge and swallowed it, so he gained the benefits of it as well when he was turned into a trophy in Subspace.
