Dedede Brooch

The Dedede Badge (unconfirmed name) "Japanese デデデの時限スイッチ" is an item originating from the Subspace Emissary mode in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It appears to be an adhesive golden badge with an imprint of King Dedede's face on it. The badges are used to revive the wearer of their trophy state, and activate after a certain period of time has passed. Dedede appears to have been anticipating the attack that would turn everyone into their trophy states, and these badges were placed on Luigi, Ness and Princess Zelda (all of whom he ambushed). When Zelda was rescued from Dedede, Kirby found his badge and swallowed it, so he gained the benefits of it as well.

It seems that the badge was not yet a trophy, and as seen when a non trophy object touches a trophy object the trophy turns back to normal.
