Celebi first appeared in the games ''Pokemon Gold'' and'' Silver''. It made its SSB debut in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]'' as a rare [[Pokeball]] pokemon that awarded the "Celebi Catcher" bonus, worth 8000 points, and the Celebi Trophy.
