Aura Sphere can be considered Lucario's signature attack, learnable by only a select few other Pokémon (Like Mewtwo) and is featured prominently in the movie ''Lucario and the Mystery of Mew'' as the prime example of Lucario's ability to manipulate aura. In the Pokemon games, Aura Sphere never misses.

Aura Sphere is Lucario's standard special move. When used, Lucario will begin charging an Aura Sphere in its hands. Lucario can also move around even if the Aura Sphere is partly or fully charged, but not while charging. Pressing the B button again will release the Aura Sphere. The longer the Aura Sphere is charged, the bigger it will become and the more damage it will do, similar to Mewtwo's Shadow Ball, also the higher damage lucario has the larger it can become and it charges faster.
