The first appearence of wobbuffet in the super smash bros. world is in Super Smash Bros Mele, and he also returns in the same way in Super Smash Bros Brawl. Once a character has grabbed a pokeball he or she may throw it. Once thrown it might land, expelling a pokemon from it. Ocasionally, this pokemon will be a wobbuffet. Once out of its pokeball it will stand still until a player touches it. Once it is in contact with a player it will start wobbling back and forth at a speed relative to how hard it was hit. Wobbuffet is the only pokemon in ssbm that can hurt the player that threw the pokeball. Wobbuffet ocasionally appears in the event match Legendary Pokemon, suggesting that he is legendary. That is not true, so he can be considered a sort of "goldeen" for the match, in terms of effectiveness. Wobbuffet also makes an appearence in the pokefloats stage of Super Smash Bros. Mele.

Other Appearences of Wobbuffet

Wobbuffet is Pokemon number 202, and makes frequent appearences in the TV show, as a comical member of Team Rocket. He evolves from Pokemon 360, Wynaut. Wobbuffet is a non-agressive Pokemon that hates light and shock, so it lives in dark caves during the day and comes out only at night. The most sensative part of Wobbuffet's body is its tail, which can provoke attacks.
