Smash Blast was the first regional tournament of Team Shockwave MX tournament series directed by Erick Guzman and Issac Cervantes. It was held in Cesun Universidad, Located in Tijuana Baja California. weekend july 11th, 2015. Like previous tournament of TSMX series, Smash Blast hosted Super Smash Bros Melee. but this time they introduced Super Smash Bros. 4 to their tournament series, being this the first Smash 4 regional in Tijuana. It was the largest Smash 4 tournament of all time in Tijuana with 85+ entrants.
