Ek is one of the best players in Europe. He lives in Kungälv in southwestern Sweden. Ek is best known for his Marth, however he plays various other characters well, especially Fox and Sheik. Ek became widely known in the community after Captain Jack complimented him, saying he's "as good as Ken" after narrowly beating him in the finals at RoofSM in January 2006.
