*Deleting and restoring pages, page histories, and uploaded files. Deleted pages cannot have a large history (~10 allows them to delete vandal pages, but not pages under discussion for deletion)
*Deleting and restoring pages, page histories, and uploaded files. Deleted pages cannot have a history larger than 10 revisions. <!--do not give them bigdelete rights, make $wgDeleteRevisionsLimit 10. Allows them to delete vandal pages, but not pages under discussion for deletion-->
*Locking (protecting) a page so it cannot be edited or renamed by non-admins, or semi-protect pages so that autoconfirmed users can edit it but new ones and IPs cannot. (Will Junior Admins be able to edit fully locked pages)
*Locking (protecting) a page so it cannot be edited or renamed by non-admins, or semi-protecting pages so that autoconfirmed users can edit it but new ones and IPs cannot. <!--Junior Admins cannot edit fully protected pages like main page-->
*Adding and removing users to a new, "suspended", usergroup. While in this usergroup, users cannot make new pages or edit most sections of the wiki, but can edit their talk page. This functions almost like a block, but can only be applied for short periods of time (would 6 hours work?), during which time an admin can evaluate and decide to remove/extend the block on the user.

*Moving pages over redirects/without leaving a redirect. (Unsure, for janitorial work)

*Deleting pages with large histories. (~10 should be a good point, read previous section)

*Importing pages from other wikis. (To prevent stealing info without attribution)

*Checking other users' IP addresses. (Unsure, could help isolate sock puppets)
*Checking other users' IP addresses with check user. <!--Admins can find IP of vandals if necessary, unneded otherwise-->
*Viewing Special:UnwatchedPages. (What does this do anyways?)
*Viewing Special:UnwatchedPages. (Unsure, could be useful and/or dangerous)
*Putting other users in SmashWiki. (I have never seen a probation, unsure)
*Putting other users in SmashWiki. <!--Warnings normally work, not used often that I am aware of-->
*Changing the SmashWiki without restrictions. (Should be under same guidelines as other users)
*Editing fully protected pages<!--Pages like main page-->
*Juniors are not considered "staff"; they cannot edit wiki-wide text or stylesheets, do not have access to the wiki's e-mail or YouTube accounts, and are not treated as member-wiki-staff on the NIWA forums.(Obvious reasons, position is to gain trust to be a full Admin)

While the current MediaWiki system makes it impossible to physically restrict one from doing so, junior administrators are expected to follow these guidelines. Also, junior administrators should not increase a page's protection level to anything past semi-protection except to stop an edit war until an admin can evaluate the protection.

Not following these guidelines will result in warnings, followed by a demotion from junior administrator if the junior administrator continues this behavior.

What's the same between a junior admin and a regular admin?
Just like full admins:
*Juniors may not use their powers to settle editing disputes.
*Juniors are not princes, and should not be treated any differently than any other user.

In addition to the guidelines set in the above paragraph, junior administrators, like administrators, should not use their power to settle editing disputes. The wiki generally has a lower tolerance for missteps by junior administrators than administrators, and inappropriate behavior  will generally result in a (one day to one week) block of the junior administrator, as well as an immediate revocation of their position.

Also, like administrators, junior administrators should not be treated as kings, and a junior administrator's say should not be weighted more heavily in a content dispute just because they have extra user rights.
