In the original ''Banjo-Kazooie'', the Jinjonator ~~made~~ its first and only appearance in the final boss battle against Gruntilda. In the penultimate phase of the fight, she casts a shield that grants her immunity to all of Banjo and Kazooie's attacks. Four [[Jinjo]] statues then rise from the ground, and activating them summons four Jinjos, who attack Gruntilda and knock her off her broom; after this, a single, large Jinjo statue rises, dubbing itself "the mighty Jinjonator". After activating the statue, the four previously summoned Jinjos are absorbed by the Jinjonator, who rams into Gruntilda multiple times, knocking her off of her tower with one final blow.
