Several months later, at {{Trn|Super Smash Con 2017}}, Jason managed to make it out of placement pools into Division 2 pools where he defeated all his opponents. He moved onto Division 1 pools where he notably defeated {{Sm|The Protagonist}}, but suffered losses against {{Sm|Wangera}} and {{Sm|HAMMERHEART}}.
