Damage and Knockback
Damage and Knockback
Mario's down aerial is the Mario Tornado. In this move, he spins around in the air whilst yelling "Yahoo!" It functions similarly to his Mario Tornado down B, but will end should Mario touch the floor. Each hit deals 1% damage with very little knockback, but the final hit is stronger, dealing 5% damage and moderate knockback.  If used closer to the ground it does have a landing hit that deals 2% damage, sending them at the Sakurai Angle, making it a ueful approach option. It autocancels on frame 33, however, with 19 frames of landing lag so one should be careful not to use it to close to the ground. It is useful as a combo move out of up throw at low percents for racking damage or even kills as the last hit has high base knockback and growth. This move was carried over from Brawl.
