However, the mechanics of Lucario's Mega Evolution in SSB4 are a little questionable. It yells "Max Aura" during Mega Evolution, despite many Mega Evolutions not using aura at all. The fact that it can Mega Evolve implies that it's holding the Lucarionite, but if this is the case, it should be able to Mega Evolve in any situation. Finally, Mega Evolution is activated by a Pokemon's Trainer, not the Pokemon itself.
