The team consists of {{SSB|Mario}} and {{SSB|Luigi}} and are battled on [[Peach's Castle]]. The player and a random character must defeat both opponents in order to proceed to the next stage. This is Stage 4 of [[1P Game]].

The Mario Bros. team also appears in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]'' in [[Adventure Mode]]. If the player has unlocked Luigi, they will fight [[Metal Mario]] and [[Metal Luigi]] instead of their regular forms. If {{SSBM|Luigi}} has not been unlocked yet, then they will fight only Metal Mario. If the player manages to defeat both brothers, they will be rewarded the '''Metal Bros. KO''' bonus.
