It is a [[Smash Bros. universe|Super Smash Bros.]]-based item, and does not hail from the [[Donkey Kong (universe)|Donkey Kong]] series, or the [[Super Mario Kart|Mario Kart]] games, contrary to what one might think. You throw it like a regular item, and when someone steps on it, they fall over and are temporarily stunned.
