:The same reason ANY game has points: bragging rights I guess. Otherwise, every playthrough would be basically the same. So, why exactly are there bonus points in Brawl? If bonus mode was removed, how do they help? And as a side note, why are they in classic mode in all Smash games in the first place? XXXXX 19:18, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
- The same reason ANY game has points: bragging rights I guess. Otherwise, every playthrough would be basically the same. Scores are basically an approximation of skill level, although I am rather infuriated that in Brawl, a Switzerland basically means ZERO POINTS. - Gargomon251 20:28, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
