In Pikmin 2, Captain Olimar gets a new two man spaceship as his original ship, the S.S. Dolphin, was sold to repay debts. The nosecone of the ship is able to come off and locate treasure. Also, when Purple and White Pikmin are brought up from the underground, they are housed in this ship, because there are no Purple or White Onions.

Role in Brawl

When Olimar uses his final smash, End of Day, the ship lands right next to him. He stands infront of it, gets inside and takes off. The act of taking off is a spike, and does 25% damage. Once the Bulborbs attack the players, the ships crashes back down into the exact center of the stage, with powerful knockback, and about 17% damage.

Role in the Subspace Emissary

Capt. Olimar and one of his allies go into his ship while the other characters use their ships. They attack a Subspace Battleship until Kirby destroys it with his Dragoon. It is seen sputtering into Subspace, after all the others have gone in.
