HP (Hit Points or Health Points) is the unit of defense in SSBM and SSBB's Stamina modes, as opposed to Damage Percent. Instead of going up and lowering defense when attacked, HP goes down, and kills the character when it hits zero.

Master Hand and Crazy Hand always use HP, unless altered with an Action Replay.
