Super Sudden Death is a special vs. mode in which all players start out with 300%, as opposed to zero, much like the Sudden Death mode that occurs after a tie. The only difference from Sudden Death is that this mode lacks the falling Bob-ombs.

In SSBB, Super Sudden Death returns under the name 300% as an option in Special Brawl. It is unknown if the falling Bob-Ombs remain.
