Can anyone confirm that most characters will NOT work for unlocking Toon Link? (i.e. you actually beat classic with a different character before unlocking him and he didn't challenge) I'm just asking b/c the first time I beat Classic was with Marth right after beating SSE and Toon Link challenged. For now, I'll add Marth to the list of characters who you can use to unlock him. --Sarda The Sage 22:04, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
P.S.: Just noticed that the "Role In Subspace Emissary" section says you can unlock him by beating Classic after SSE with any character as an alternative method. I'll just edit out the "Link or Zelda" bit, and unless someone can actually confirm that certain characters don't work, we'll leave it that way. --Sarda The Sage 22:08, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Not able to unlock after Luigi
Errrrr... you have to get him after Luigi and there is more ppl between the so unless you did 400 vs. Modes but not 22 or beat SSE without Luigi how do we know for sure...~Crystal
