Sudowoodo (ウソッキー, Usokkī, Usokkie in Japanese language versions) is a fictional creature in the Pokémon media franchise.
Creature description
Sudowoodo is an odd rocky creature that tends to mimic others and try to come across as a tree. In the Fourth Generation it gain a pre-evolved form named Bonsly.
In Super Smash Bros. Melee
Sudowoodo has made only two minor appearances.
As a stage element
A giant balloon of Sudowoodo (in actuality the 3D model of Sudowoodo used in Pokémon Stadium 2 for Nintendo 64) is one of the many floating and bending "platforms" that comprise the Poké Floats stage.
As a trophy
Sudowoodo features as a collectible trophy, unlocked as one of the 100+ trophies that can be collected randomly during normal play, such as in the Trophy Lottery and throughout the various Single-player Regular Matches. It reads as follows:
- Sudowoodo
- A copycat Pokémon with an aversion to battle, Sudowoodo always poses as a tree in order to avoid being attacked. Despite their arboreal appearance, these Pokémon are actually Rock-types, and therefore highly vulnerable to water. When it begins to rain, they vanish. Sudowoodo can be found blocking Route 36 in Johto. (Pokémon Gold & Silver 10/00)
