I think the Heart Containers are better in their Brawl position. In Melee, you could use one by accident, because it's right in front of you. Ideally, though, the best position for the Heart Containers would be behind your spawn point. How on earth would someone manage to accidentally land on the spawn platform? That's NEVER happened to me. I've never even considered it could happen to anyone. Two jumps, plus a recovery move, is it really that hard to move the equivalent of 5 feet? Come on now.
