The Smash Arena is a popularity contest involving voting, not actual fights, so stop complaining about these votes not being close. If you were to understand the basics of voting, you would see that landslide victories are much more common than close, nearly tied votes. I'll also like to add that Toomai nor the person making the suggestion has no foresight on how the vote will turn out, so demanding "close matchups" to be chosen is demanding something that cannot be done (not to mention that trying to choose "close matchups" only will cause the Smash Arena to lose out on interesting matchups with no real gain in return). So keep this all in mind the next time you complain about a vote not being close.

:I didn't actually test this yet, but I think characters can only bounce to the side or downwards, even when you hit a bumper from the top. So, you can only use a bumper for horizontal recovery and not vertical. Hope this clears things up.
